Welcome to Rehuman. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rehuman application, website, digital wallet, and related services (together, the “Services”) operated by Rehuman Ltd (“Rehuman”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.
1. About Us
Rehuman Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We provide a mobile application designed to help individuals manage, understand, and stay on top of their insurance documents. We are not an insurance provider, broker, or underwriter, and we do not sell or arrange insurance products.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to access or use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete.
3. What Rehuman Offers (and Does Not Offer)
Rehuman provides:
- A digital wallet for storing and organising insurance-related documents
- Reminders and personalised insights based on the data you upload
Rehuman does not:
- Sell, arrange, or underwrite insurance products
- Offer regulated financial, insurance, or legal advice
- Guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party content or services
If you choose to purchase an insurance product via a third-party referral or link, you do so at your own discretion and subject to that third party’s terms and conditions.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with anyone else.
If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at info@rehuman.co.uk . You are solely responsible for any activity conducted under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services in any way that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious
- Uploads or shares false, misleading, or unauthorised content
- Interferes with or disrupts the operation of our platform or infrastructure
- Attempts to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our technology
- Uses our AI features to generate or share offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms
6. Privacy
Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your data in accordance with that policy.
7. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Insights
Some features of the Services, including document recognition, policy categorisation, and personalised suggestions, are powered by artificial intelligence (AI). These features may use third-party AI platforms such as Google Cloud AI and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as Rehuman’s proprietary AI model trained exclusively on insurance policy data.
These tools are designed to help you better organise and understand your insurance documents, but:
- Are for informational purposes only
- Do not constitute regulated financial, insurance, legal, or professional advice
- May not always reflect the most accurate, complete, or up-to-date information
- Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision
By using these features, you acknowledge that any decisions or actions you take based on AI-generated content are entirely at your own risk, and Rehuman Ltd shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from such use.
7A. No Financial Advice
Rehuman is not a regulated entity and does not provide financial advice.
Any tools, insights, or suggestions offered within the Services are general in nature and not tailored to your individual financial circumstances. We do not:
- Conduct a regulated insurance activity
- Advise on the suitability or appropriateness of any insurance product
- Recommend or endorse any specific insurance provider or policy
If you require financial, legal, or insurance advice, you should consult with a qualified, FCA-regulated advisor.
8. Email Scanning and Data Use
As part of our Services, Rehuman offers the ability to connect your email account (e.g. Gmail or Outlook) to scan for insurance-related documents.
By enabling this feature, you give us permission to:
- Securely access your email account using industry-standard authentication protocols (e.g. OAuth)
- Search your inbox for specific keywords and phrases associated with insurance (e.g. "policy", "insurance", "coverage")
- Extract relevant metadata or attachments for the purpose of populating your Rehuman wallet
We do not:
- Store your emails from your inbox or unrelated email data
- Access, read, or retain emails that are not directly relevant to insurance
- Share any scanned data with third parties without your explicit consent
You may revoke access to your email account at any time via your app settings or email provider’s permissions dashboard.
All scanning is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with appropriate security safeguards to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and technology used or made available through the Services are owned by Rehuman Ltd or its licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Services
Our Services may include links to or integrations with third-party providers (e.g. insurance providers, platforms, or APIs). We are not responsible for the content, security, or practices of those third parties. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. While we aim to offer a secure and reliable platform, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects or vulnerabilities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim all warranties, conditions, and representations (express or implied) relating to the Services.
- We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
- We are not liable for the accuracy of third-party policy data or AI-generated insights.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
12. User Content and Submissions
If users upload, submit, or share any content (e.g. insurance documents, notes, personal annotations), they:
- Grant Rehuman a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process such content solely to provide the Services.
- Confirm that they have the right to upload or share that content and it does not infringe any third party rights.
13. Beta Features
From time to time, we may make beta or experimental features available to you. These features:
- May be less reliable or accurate than other parts of the Services
- Are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind
- May be discontinued or changed at any time without notice
14. Third Party Authentication Services
If you log in or connect via third-party platforms (e.g. Google or Microsoft), you authorise us to access and use certain information as permitted by those services, governed by their own terms.
15.Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Services, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the platform.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app, website, or email. Continued use of the Services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us or using in-app options. We will action such requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
